What you'll do

As a crucial part of our Finance team, you'll be reporting directly to the Finance Director, playing a key role in the commercial operations. Here's what you'll be up to on a day-to-day basis:

  • Dive into commercial reporting, focusing on optimising client profitability
  • Manage client reporting efficiently, ensuring clarity and precision
  • Take charge of debtor management, invoicing, and liaise effectively with internal Client teams. Ensure all financial transactions align with our T & Cs
  • Review and manage financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency
  • Assume the role of a Line Manager for Purchase and Sales Ledger, providing leadership and support to two direct reports
  • Engage in budgeting and forecasting activities to contribute to strategic planning
  • Showcase your advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office for seamless financial operations

As you progress, you’ll find yourself at the helm of our Financial Strategy, influencing key decisions and driving the financial success of the company.

What we’ll need

  • Bring 2-5 years of post-qualification industry experience to the table.
  • Hold qualifications such as AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA. A degree would be the cherry on top!
  • Demonstrated experience with SAGE 50 Accounts and Payroll, with an advantage if you've handled payroll duties.
  • Team player and communication pro – previously experience of collaboratively working with Senior Leadership Team and the Board
